Rant: Riida Birthday Bash Report
It's finally done! And my report is.. Once again, late.. Gomen.. Demo.. I really am happy that a lot of Arashi fans came for the Birthday bash! This even is the first major event that I primarily handled.. Ofie-chan (Abyssinian @ Vox) helped me a lot on this.. So.. Major Arashi Rabu to Ofie~ Thank you guys so much for attending~ I hope you all had fun.. The positive comments that I've heard from you guys really made our efforts worth it~
Well.. At least Ofie and I fulfilled our promise that we will not sleep late the night before the party.. Because we slept early morning on the day of the bash.. Lolz~ Ofie slept at around 2AM as she prepared the prizes while I slept at around 3AM to complete the finalization for the bash.. The main reason why I slept this late is because.. The PVs refused to be burned correctly T-T I wasted around.. 3 blank DVDs because of this T-T
Ofie, Niko, JoAnn and I were supposed to meet at 12NN but since we are all following FIlipino time, we're late.. Lolz~ My arms wanted to fall off from carrying all those stuffs.. Lolz~ And so, when we're finally complete, we set off to Astoria Plaza.. As soon as we reached the place, we rested for a while and checked the DVD player.. The DVD player which refused to play burned DVDs.. Lolz~ The hysterical me then surfaced and I ended up texting those people who, I think can bring their DVD player.. Shiela-ne brought hers! Thanks a lot Shiela-ne.. You're player saved all of us.. Lolz~
Actually, the birthday bash was like an exercise session for me.. Lolz~ We walked and walked and walked and walked some more.. Lolz~ We asked Niko and JoAnn to act as receptionists and to get the tarpaulins up.. They did a wonderful job.. Especially the Ohno tarp~ It was so strategically placed~ It looked like a mini shrine.. Lolz~ A little flower here.. Some fishes there.. A Nino pic here.. Lolz~ Eiri and her Momo.. Isn't it obvious who their ichiban is? Lolz~ I wasn't able to get a pic of the other tarp.. Gomen..
Meg and Ai acted as my official kitchen buddies T-T Gomen ne that you guys ended up helping me in the kitchen.. -Thinks- Actually, in the end, I left them in the kitchen T-T Gomen demo.. Thanks a bunch for helping me out with the foods ^-^ I hope you guys had your fair share of snacks ^-^ Most of what we prepared are finger foods (since it's the easiest to prepare) I was supposed to make onigiri but due to time contraint, we crossed out that dish.. Thanks a lot to Ofie for ordering the spaghetti and chopsuey.. And.. Mads.. Thanks a lot for the Hershey's Smore cake~

While preparing the food, eating and flailing, Ofie started with the games. We had "Pinoy Henyo" style game (a special guessing game), Arashi Trivia contest and AMNOS imitation game. Prizes includes Arashi mugs, bookmarks, mini notebooks and Arashi pictures. Most chatted, some joined, all flailed! I had a difficult time with the trivia gamee though.. Honestly.. The last two remaining contestants are tough! Lolz~ I hope you guys had fun ^-^
We also had a special award which we called "Arashi Fan of the Day".. Gomen but I really ran out of bright/smart title.. Lolz~ It was decided through voting (and no.. Flying voters are kicked out). We gave a certificate and a special prize for the winner.. Anna got the title and she got the certificate.. The special prize? Arashi Toretate Photobook ^-^ I hope you enjoyed your PB Anna-chan ^-^

Baka moments:
- I actually forgot.. FORGOT to wear the Arashi shirt that I'm selling and I even asked others to wear T-T I'm not even wearing BLUE!
- I assumed Astoria have their own microphones T-T So.. We weren't able to have Arashi karaoke T-T
- Arashi nekos are not supposed to go somewhere together or they'll end up getting lost.. Official Arashi nekos: Neko1: me!; Neko2: Ofie-chan; Neko3: Niko-chan (Niko-Nino-Neko.. I think he's the neko who have the most reliable sense of direction among us..) What does neko means? Cat of course.. In our case, cats with poor sense of direction.. Lolz~
- I actually forgot that we have brownies.. Ofie reminded me about it when we lighted the Ohno cake.. -whacks self-
